Self-Isolation Schedules

Reception's Self-Isolation Schedules

On this page you will find the weekly self-isolation schedules that you can use to support your child at home if they are required to self-isolate. The activities on these schedules closing match the teaching for Phonics, Reading, Maths and Learn Its and we have done our best to link the Literacy teaching either to the current teaching in the classroom or to a story that they children are already familiar with. Each subject has a recommended amount of time that should be spent in order to complete the task(s). In addition, we encourage you to engage in one of these activities each day:

  • Play a turn-taking game, e.g. board game, memory game
  • Complete a jigsaw puzzle
  • Make a model, e.g. using building bricks, junk modelling
  • Create a picture, e.g. drawing, painting, cutting and sticking
  • Role-play
  • sing nursery rhymes and familiar songs
