At Blackhorse Primary School we recognise the value of sport and physical activity in ensuring that children lead active, healthy and happy lives.

PE and Sport provide our children with opportunities to discover the important qualities of determination, communication, team work and commitment.  It also creates a real sense of belonging.  This helps lead  to improved concentration, attention and achievement in all aspects of their personal development.

We welcome the Government's additional funding to improve the provision of Sport and Physical education at Blackhorse.  We are committed to using the funding to enhance our provision of high quality PE and develop the expertise of our staff, both within and beyond the curriculum.
