Sycamore Class is designed for Key Stage 2 children in our Resource Base (typically Year 3-6). The children follow a personalised curriculum, which aims to develop their communication and interaction skills, cognition and learning skills, social emotional and mental health and fine and gross motor skills. To further develop their social skills, children have increased opportunities to include with their mainstream class developing their independence. Through the schools mission of building champion Learners through Extensive Opportunities, Expert Tuition, Purposeful Practise and Personal Effort children develop the skills to thrive independently and be ready for the next stage of their learning journey into Secondary school, whether this may in a mainstream or a specialist setting.
