Thursday - Watch the film on the link below. Plot how Tony (the young boy) is feeling at key points throughout the film (this will help with your narrative tomorrow).
Friday - Write the story in the present tense from Tony's point of view (I can't believe dad is leaving me with Grampy again - I am so disappointed). Try to use the present progressive form at least three times. If you are stuck, look back at Monday's presentation for help.

Monday - Watch the video below. Draw a story map or cartoon strip showing what happens throughout the advert.
Tuesday - Use the document below to plan a newspaper report - perhaps people in your town witnessed Santa in McDonalds. Headlines may read 'Santa Spotted in Southend' or 'Father Christmas Drive Thru Drama'.
You don't have to print the planning sheet, just use it to help you structure your report.
Wednesday - Write your newspaper report. Don't forget a flashy headline and a picture with a caption!
Thursday - Edit the punctuation and spelling in your newspaper report.
Friday - Choose one section of your report to redraft so that it is the best it can possibly be!
